Mischa Badasyan is a performance artist and activist from Russia based in Berlin. Since many years he is working with human bodies as an artistic tool of expression. He is a video maker, producer, and director.

The basic idea of the human installation is to cover the whole area of the waterfall with the human bodies. That represents the flow of the water and so to become a waterfall itself. They lay down naked on the rocks next to each other, from the bottom to the top people surround the water and pay tribute to nature and they immerse into it. WATERFALL project is a shout for more freedom and to save Berlin’s free culture with fresh and new energy.

 

I fell asleep as a drop
but you woke up as a whole shower

You became water
but I will drink you up

You will melt in the summer
but I will freeze in the winter

You will pour from above
but I will stream to the wave

You trust the sea
but I cry as a lake

You can break even mountains
but I am scared to drown

You will evaporate into a cloud
but I will lay down as dew to the grass

You will drink me up in the glass
but I will stream to the pond

You will fall asleep as a shower
but I will wake up as a drop on your lips
