“ATOM is a series of red and black polaroid photographs in which I portray the idea of danger and power through colour and shapes formed by the body. Featured is performance artist and clubkid, Tazmé Pillay who aims to break the boundaries of gender and social politics through their work and founded ‘The Death of Glitter’, a happening that fills the void of an alternative queer party scene within Cape Town‘s underground culture.”
