“During the first lockdown, I asked my friends to take pictures of them naked on my desk. This table was my father’s family dinner table in the sixties, so his parents and his brother and sister ate every meal on this table. The table is a place of work and food, but it’s also a pedestal, and I wanted them to be the sculptures. I wanted to rethink the domestic space and to create a sexy experience, an exciting new place to be intimate since we can’t leave our homes. All the “couples” never kissed before and it’s their first kiss and for some, it was the first time being naked in front of the camera.”
