Half japanese half spanish, fulltime footwear designer based between London and Nuremberg. Bored in a world where he doesn’t belong, he carries a past full of lost where death embodies fear and sadness, but answers are found in his artwork. Surco Makino captures his life between pencil lines, white paper and a shaking hand that follows a thinking process based on sudden feelings. Beauty is his slogan and he finds it in the deepest memories and filthiest actions. A strong sexual charge makes his artwork a visual exercise that touches certain established barriers where he feels very uncomfortable with, for him the world should not be described by tags, words or names, it just must be lived.
