In many ways, humans are the only species that hurt themselves. Pain – Pleasure – Guilt: Moral masochism according to Freud. The creatures on the pictures are aware of this libidinal mechanism and masks are a metaphor of this. Under a sexual atmosphere, I build colorful and plastic spaces where darkness is able to be seen. My creative process is lead by sublimation. My influences are figurative surrealism and pop art.
