Sasha Shay is a young actor from Kharkiv. That was far 2017, at that time he had just entered the first year of the acting faculty of the Kharkiv University of Culture. I met him the first time at a local techno party and was amazed by his expression and plasticity in the dance. 
He invited me to do the shooting in one of his rehearsal rooms at the university, so I wanted to experiment with some acting accessories, such as a puppet show or theatrical lighting. Years later he became a permanent actor at the Kharkiv-based Independent theater “Neft”, where I often work as a costume designer. The repertoire of their performances focuses on various current topics, such as queer identity, environmental issues, the crisis of creativity, and many others.

The biggest part of the crew of this theater now mobilized to the Ukrainian army or Kharkiv volunteer battalion. “
