To the photographers of the website Pornceptual, nudity is no taboo

After being invited by our newspaper the photographer Carol Stiler, part of the Pornceptual team, did a photo shot inspired by the “50 Shades of Grey” trilogy. The website has been on the internet since January, but the project Pornceptual was created two years ago. ”The goal is to create a new approach inside erotic art that breaks down the prejudice that pornography can’t be art”, explains Chris Phillips, the creator of the page. “We want to show how the human sexuality is much more diverse and complex than the way that it is usually portrayed.”, he says.
With contributions of photographers from different countries, the site has an interactive section called Get Naked. “The idea is to let people who admire the website to get inspired by us and contribute, even when they aren’t professional photographers. We want people to be an active part of the project”, says Chris Phillips. If you access the website, you can check photographs from Brasília, London, France, Slovakia and Italy. “Now, since the last months, the project has been focusing in Berlin, that has an atmosphere of extreme sexual liberty”.
For the photo shot that illustrates the article of the previous page, Carol Stiler had volunteered models and accessories borrowed by the sex shop Magia do Amor. Born in the countryside of the Brazilian State Rio Grande do Sul, the photographer has been living in Brasilia for more than ten years. She is responsible for nine photo shots published in the website, besides from taking care of the administration of the page.
