BDSM is the unwanted child of Capitalism. We are the offshoots, the ingrown hairs of contemporary sexuality and are hell-bent on eroticising and making work from the difference. However, our work and thoughts that have taken a lifetime to develop are now on sale in the high street. A pseudo normalisation has marginalised us, taken the aesthetics and discarded the emotions. And with that, we see less and less of the rewards coming back.
How does it work?
The objective of this publication is to be both a reflection of this community and a way to support it. To give space to people that have something to say. It supports these people by giving them an equal share of the profit made from this publication. Each publication becomes a co-op smut peddling endeavour inspired and devised by the creators that fill its pages.
The really good stuff this community has to offer isn’t presented on a plate, it’s found. It’s at the end of a journey. It’s robbing porn as a teen, going to your first BDSM party, reading a book that shifted your idea of normality. This publication is a gallery, a homage to this journey, a dedication to the people that have given it it’s texture.
