The series seeks to portray and deconstruct the mythological tale of Midas, with an erotic language, bringing a forgotten character of this intriguing history: Litierses, his protector, also known as the “reaper of men”. King Midas, known historically for transforming everything he touched into gold, gains a plastic and pictorial representation between the relation of the hands and the male body, revealing textures and movements through the essay.
The myth tells us that this gift, of turning everything into gold, was given to Midas by the Greek God Baccom or Dionysus. Bacco then offered Midas the right to choose the reward he desired, whatever it might be. Midas asked that “whatever he touched turned into gold”. Bacco consented, though sorry for not having made a better choice.
