In queer communities, desire is spoken in codes — through gestures, fashion, glances, and symbols that carry history, intimacy, and play. With analogue photography as both a political and poetic choice, Versteeg’s work explores how identity, power, and longing intertwine in unspoken languages of connection and survival.
