‘Set in the leafy abandoned warehouses of East Berlin, “Out in the open” explores what it means to be out as a queer man and engaging in anonymous hook up culture. Through a mix of various candid shots, we intimately connect with the subject, as he removes layers of clothes to reveal the true naked vulnerability of raw human sexuality. This shoot is a celebration of the feminine and masculine, and how validation from self out weights the need of validation through sex from others.’
