Rony Hernandes
Rony creates visual work in response to current issues. He was only 16 when he started to express himself through self-portraiture and the stories of others alongside his own. Earthy tones are the building blocks of his narrative – a fusion of personal feelings and expressive bodies.
A highlight of his body of work is a photograph published on the cover of Brazilian magazine Revista Cult, exploring the cartography of masculinity. Rony continues to expand his research through dance and theatre. And he has given workshops all over Brazil focusing on the body.

Deepneue
Imagine a jungle. Now, visualize it so exuberant that the plants are synthesizers, trees are instruments and animals are Electronic Music producers exploring the ecosystem, fabricating its vibrations. When left together these animals and plants create a landscape, a particular nature. To this, we’ll call Electronic Music. There, we find Deepneue, a chameleon, a creature so adaptable that even its name fuses 2 languages, English and German, both of which are not his native Portuguese. An impressive creature because of its ability to integrate and challenge the natural palette, in order to express and communicate. Seemingly shifting from groovy techno beats and hypnotic dance music to ambient, beat-less experimental layers and even scores for film and plays, this being owns a broad attention span as a result of its 360-degree view. With a tongue that grows twice as big as its own body, Deepneue draws inspiration from far and close influences that completes its “wide-range” diet and its deep need for the new.

Victor Diniz
“Since childhood, we are taught that men cannot show vulnerability, that we must suppress our sensitivity”. As a gay cis man, Victor grew up seeing female bodies being overexposed and full of possibilities, while his male body went against that.
Through his work, he invites the viewer to reflect on the interpretations of male nudity. Men can also feel, be felt, and are also endowed with weaknesses and desires. When you look at the intimacy of another person, you can deal more naturally with your own.

Femanyst
I am focused on hardcore industrial techno at the moment. I feel it is such a cathartic mean of expression. I’m able to get out of all my darkness and aggression and at the end of it, I’m so happy and fulfilled. Specifically, about this focus on Black artists, I am so here for it. I’m proud of my musical heritage as a BPOC from the United States and I’m happy that our contributions are being put front and centre.
In her adopted home Berlin, Femanyst sets herself apart from the crowd with her aggressive and unrelenting industrial techno sets tinger with elements of hardcore and gabber. Whether it’s taking from her esteemed production time under the alias Lady Blacktronika or experience growing up in California, her self-assured approach to gripping and brawling techno tension sees them perform a fast paced and fervent flow on the dance floor.
Femanyst continues to bring her unapologetically bold signature sound with their new techno imprint “Dark Carousel” as an extension to their much revered DJ sets of twisted and aggressive, 90s influenced high octane electronic music.
