Melt is an exploration and a declaration of queer love. Within this work I am looking at the relationship between a queer couple – Jordan and Marlo – while simultaneously exploring my own queer identity. Using experimental techniques to blur the boundaries of the two lovers’ bodies, depicting oneness, intimacy and connection. Showing and exploring queer love, while simultaneously exhibiting that love is love regardless of gender. It is this shared human experience of love that will allow us to overcome the boundaries and barriers we are still fighting against. In love, we melt.
